Botanical Garden/Kyoto

Kyoto Botanical Garden opened in 1924. You can see Eastern mountains including Mt.Hiei. To the North lies the Kitayama mountain range. It is divided into several sections including Japanese Native Plants. Particularly, plants found throughout Japan grow here in their natural, ecological state. You can enjoy picnic lunch in the nature.

Entrance fee is 200 yen. For people over 60 (with ID) fee is free.
